Entity SEO

Entity SEO is the practice of establishing and optimizing your website's topics, brand, and content as distinct entities within Google's Knowledge Graph, using structured data, consistent signals, and authoritative references.

Google's Knowledge Graph connects entities (people, places, organizations, concepts) with relationships. When Google recognizes your brand as an entity, it better understands your content's context, connects your site to related topics, and may grant Knowledge Panel visibility.

Build entity recognition through: consistent brand information across the web (same name, description, and attributes everywhere), Organization structured data with `sameAs` links to social profiles and Wikidata, topical depth (comprehensive coverage of your domain establishes you as an authority entity), and authoritative mentions from recognized sources.

For developer tools, entity SEO means establishing your tool as a recognized entity in the "SEO tools" or "developer tools" category. GitHub presence, npm registry listing, documentation sites, and mentions in authoritative tech publications all contribute to entity recognition. Indxel's structured data includes Organization schema with links to GitHub and npm.
